1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the BFD (Buy From Dubai) platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Platform Description
BFD is a pure marketplace connecting buyers worldwide with merchants in Dubai, UAE. BFD does not own, stock, or ship any products. All transactions are between buyers and independent merchants, with logistics handled by independent cargo agents.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
4. Escrow Payment Protection
All payments are held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of goods. The escrow system protects both buyers and merchants by ensuring funds are only released when agreed conditions are met.
5. Disputes & Refunds
Buyers may file disputes within 48 hours of delivery confirmation. BFD administrators arbitrate disputes based on evidence from both parties. Refunds, when granted, are processed through the original payment method.
6. Prohibited Activities
Users must not engage in fraud, sell prohibited goods, manipulate reviews, or violate applicable laws. BFD reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Currency & Pricing
All prices on the platform are displayed in AED (UAE Dirham). Buyers see converted prices in their local currency for reference only. All transactions are settled in AED.
8. Limitation of Liability
BFD acts solely as a marketplace facilitator. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of merchants to complete sales.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.
